  1. I really like the third one, it captures the "in the moment" feature that makes you feel like you are present in what is going on. Also the guy with the green hat allows the attention to be drawn throughout the photo to the back whilst keeping everything in focus.

The second one captures the movement while not being blurry, though I think some blur would add some dimension to the photo and speed. Even though you are indoors, maybe find the light from the windows and look for shadows.

It's great Holly, nice job =)

  2. These are good, but it might have been nice to get different fans from different perspectives. The running one is cool because it gets at the spectators and not just the action.

  3. I like the progression of the photos. It's pretty sweet. However, the middle picture of the track, not the fans, almost distracts from the progression of the story.

    You rock.

  4. I enjoy the ones that depict the fans' emotion and catch them in the middle of cheering someone on. Try and shoot from various angles, even try shooting angles that you don't think will work, you may be surprised.

  5. The second photo with the crowd and track is your most successful. Good use of line in the image. Your other ones of faces of the fans are good, maybe try getting some more visual clues as to where they are or what they're cheering for in the image.

  6. + okay, i love the angle you've used of the spectators! the expressions are so great!
+ i also love your spectator's perspective on the runners. many times, we just see close up athlete shots in sports photography. you had a unique touch!

    - it would have been nice to see a little more variety. i see a lot of the crowd from the same angle, though they are exciting. think about how else you can tell your story!

    nice work!!

  7. I like the way you were able to capture the excitement of the track meet. The students have great facial expressions, that makes the pictures very interesting. Next time try different view points.
